+++++ Time left to register your substances in Turkey +++++

The Turkish regulation for the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals known as Turkish REACH or KKDIK entered into force in 2017.
KKDIK requires companies importing or manufacturing chemical substances in Turkey in annual quantities exceeding one ton to register these chemicals.

The pre-registration of the existing substances under the scope of the KKDIK was open until 31.12.2020. However, KKDIK late pre-registration is possible after this date.

The registration period started in January 2021, and it continues until the end of 2023. Unlike EU-REACH, there is only one registration deadline for all substances, regardless of their tonnage band.

Exporters of chemical substances to Turkey can appoint a Turkish legal entity as their Only Representative (OR) to fulfil their importers’ KKDIK obligations.
